Por supuesto que sí . Las sesiones de asesoramiento están disponibles en español si ese es su idioma de preferencia.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, mental health providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance and estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services such as therapeutic services. This includes related costs like late cancelation fees. Make sure your mental health provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item.

You can also ask your mental health provider and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule therapy services. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your good faith estimate you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For more questions or information about your right to Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/no surprises or call The No Surpises Help Desk at 1-800-985-3059.

What's A Good Faith Estimate?

No at all! I enjoy working with ambitious women of color with issues related to anxiety, co-dependency, depression, and life transitions. If we decide that I'm not a good fit I am happy to help connect you with someone who can be.

Do you only work with women entrepreneurs?

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I do not bill insurance directly. I can provide you with a superbill (an itemized receipt) that you may submit to your insurance company. Please note: reimbursement is not guaranteed—every plan is different, and it’s your responsibility to confirm coverage with your insurance. I am not responsible for whether your insurance accepts your claim or reimburses you. Clients have also used HSA to pay for their sessions.

My standard rate is $140 per 50 min session. Payment is due at the time of each session. If you are using an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), we can discuss those options before starting.

What's the cost for a session?

Sessions are usually 50 minutes long. Most clients start with weekly sessions and may move to biweekly or monthly as needed. I try my best to work with you and your budget in terms of frequency but also will give you my recommendation during our first session based on your concerns.

- CLIENT TESTIMONY

"monica made me feel understood, listened to, and validated!"

We will dig into what’s holding you back, develop a clear plan to move you forward, and you’ll walk away with immediate action steps aimed at helping you feel better right away.

Based on your needs, we’ll meet weekly or biweekly. You’ll learn strategies to improve mood, performance, health, and relationships.

If it isn’t working, let's fix it! It's important for me to know where you stand. Therefore, we will periodically review our plan and goals set. We’ll tweak things as needed to ensure we are still moving toward what is best for you.

Treatment Planning/Your Counseling Journey:

We will meet either virtually or in person. I’ll take what I learned from our consult call and start learning your story. We all have a story to share on what led us to this point and I believe sharing this can help us both get to know each other. Here your needs will be further assessed, treatment recommendations will be provided, and I’ll answer any additional questions you might have.

The First Appointment:

In this call, we dive into a free consult session where I help you uncover issues that have been holding you back. I want to make sure you and I are a good fit for your specific needs. Collaboratively, we will decide if, moving forward, working together is the next step. If it is, I will send you all the intake paperwork digitally so that in our first official session you don’t have to stress about it. You can fully be present and ready to start on your journey to becoming the best version of yourself.
